Old News of the Day–March 30

At the NJ Digital Newspaper office, we’ve often found ourselves drawn to advertisements. In some papers, they’re the standalone “graphic” component on an all-text page. In others, the image itself draws the eye over other ads on the page. Looking at the March 30, 1870 West-Jersey Pioneer, we especially noticed the depiction of the Garrison & Woodruff dry goods store.
