The NJ Digital Newspaper Project Team are pleased to announce that all of the papers digitized through three rounds of funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities National Digital Newspaper Program are available online at Chronicling America (The site’s full list of NJ papers, with more detailed information about issues, can be found here).
The NJ Digital Newspaper Project started in 2016 with the aim of digitizing issues of New Jersey’s historical newspapers. Thanks to the work of our amazing project team and guidance of our wonderful advisory board, we now have approximately 300,000 pages shared online.
The project team compiled posts featuring content from the newspapers that will continue to be added to this blog from time to time.
