Halloween is tomorrow! How do you usually celebrate Halloween?
Do you like to bob for apples?
If you have never tried this 2,000 year old tradition may I suggest you give it chance. Historically, apples are the symbol of love. Bobbing for apples began as a European dating game where every man is assigned an apple. If the woman is successful at picking apple on the first try, then it is a sign that their relationship would last. However, if it took her a couple tries, then the relationship is predetermined to fail. This tradition died off until the late 1800s when it was revived in American culture as a children’s game.
So, hopefully now you are tempted enough to grab a couple friends and go bobbing for apples tomorrow, you never know what will happen!
